Yet again a newer version of the MKVToolnix package for Slackware (Sbo build). This one was build on a 14.1 system. Note that this is also the last version that uses the wxWidgets library for the mkvmerge GUI tool (mmg). Newer versions apparently will rely on Qt5. However, Qt5 is not part of a standard Slackware 14.1 system.

 
For Slackware 14.1 x64:

• MKVToolNix 8.3.0

Update for Slackware x64: latest version of MariaDB 5.5.x. This package was build on a Slackware 13.x system, but appears to work equally well on Slackware 14.1 x64.

Yet again, newer versions of OpenSSL for Slackware x64 13.x/14x. The openssl packages still contain the openssl-0.9.8 libraries, for compatibility with (older) programs linked to those.
These packages are build on a Slackware 13.x system, but appear to work equally well on Slackware 14.1 x64.
